Crabbing@Carnavon

At ONE MILE JETTY, Carnavon****
About 228kms from Coral Bay we arrive at Carnavon, the banana town! Many banana plantations here but the fishing here is good too. So we thought we might try some crabbing since we haven't had crabs for a long time.

We bought the tuna head bait at a tackle shop for $7. Then we headed to the 1 Mile Jetty, which cost us $4 pp for the jetty walk. Well, these crabs had better be worth more than $15!

CAught the Biggest MUD CRAB!!! Very strong clawss...

After only 15min, we caught a little blue swimmer. The wind is so strong today. And then Peter lift the crab net again, and this time a giant Mud Crab! Wow, first time we caught a mud crab and it was really huge. 2 more of these will be good enough for dinner! :P

Angie had a go, woohoo two in the net! Smaller than the first mud crab but still good size! Well, that's it for today.

Catch of the day: 3 Mud Crab (good for flesh) and one blue swimmer crab (sweet flesh)... Yummy...

THat's our Dinner! Cooked crab and Crab in sweet and sour sauce, Malaysian style!
We cooked one crab in a sour and spicy sauce while the rest we just boil them in salt water. Though it's simple to cook but we use quite a long time due to limited resources (we only had one small pot for almost a year now) Yummy!! With some garlic bread :)

Finger licking good!!
